Payne Print is a proudly family owned company, the dream of Tom Payne now brought to life by his family and a loyal team of dedicated staff.

Mastering his craft in Toowoomba, Tom and his young family were drawn to the Mackay area in 1970. Only a few years later, Tom established Payne Print Pty Ltd and so a life long passion and dedication to fine printing began.

Opening their doors with only a second hand guillotine and a Platen Letterpress Printing Machine, it was not uncommon to see Tom toiling through the night to ensure the highest standard in excellence, something Payne Print continues to pride themselves on today.

This truly family affair quickly grew as did their reputation throughout the region. The high quality of Payne Print's work spoke for itself and the then emerging mining companies were amongst the first to take notice, clients who have remained loyal to the company and are amongst their biggest clients today.

From simple beginnings, Tom Payne has consistently adhered to an ethos based on hard work, honesty and outstanding service and continued to hone his craft, ensuring Payne Print was at the fore of printing technology whilst maintaining old fashioned attention to detail and customer service.

Whilst Tom has now retired, he maintains an active interest in the business he built from the ground up. Payne Print has boomed to include 20 employees; all of whom maintain his passion for the company and boast their own individual areas of expertise.

Each and every member of the Payne Print team share Tom's vision for the company and these loyal and dependable people are the heart of this highly successful business. With enthusiasm and commitment, they consistently produce high quality work for which they are renowned.
